City To Sign Lee Hughes Again

Hughes to sign before mid-day It is understood that Coventry City will try and sign Lee Hughes again.The former City striker is currently at Notts County but could be allowed to leave today if a deal can be done before mid-day. He joined City in 2001 for £5m from West Brom and was sold back to them for £5m and a penny after scoring 15 goals in 42 games.Hughes was sent to prison in 2004 for causing death by dangerous driving and served three years of a six year sentence. On release from Featherstone Prison, he joined Oldham Athletic.Speaking exclusively to Covsupport News Service, City's special spokesperson April D'Uno said: "I'm sure that the City support will treat Lee to a warm welcome when he returns."
