Review Meeting today Coventry City are having a review meeting today following accusations of poor treatment of some City supporters by the stewards and police at Saturday’s game against Derby County. There have been plenty of complaints flying around the net, after supporters making a peaceful protest against the club’s owners were man-handled out of the CT Stand and an ejection in the Tesco Stand Block 15 sparked a further disturbance. With some City supporters vowing not to return to the Ricoh Arena if this is the way SISU treat its supporters and calls for whoever ordered the stewards to be sent into a situation that did not merit it for the second game running, to be banned from having anything to do with a football club for a very long time, CEO Paul Clouting has issued the following statement on the club website. He said: "No-one wants to see the scenes which we witnessed on Saturday. We want to discover exactly what sparked the incident, how it was dealt with and to ensure it cannot happen again. "The safety and enjoyment of our supporters is our number one concern. We work very closely with all parties in this and want supporters visiting the Arena to enjoy their experience. "Coventry City has a very good reputation as a friendly, family club and Saturday's incidents saddened everyone."
