The 25 year old Irish international goal keeper is likely to go straight into the squad for the League Cup fixture at Morecambe tonight. as his compatriot is away on international duty with Ireland. Doyle, who stands 6' 5" tall has been at Birmingham for nine years and had had loan spells at Milwall, where he had two spells and at Nottingham Forest. Doyle spent time having a trial with League 1 outfit Plymouth last week, but has not played at senior level for The Blues since April 2009, but will probably be the first choice 'keeper for tonight's game at The Globe, Morecambe.
