City stay fifth

A 0-0 draw keeps City in fifth Coventry City remain if fifth spot in the Championship table after their goalless draw at Reading today. Second placed Cardiff City went down to a surprise 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough, a result which leaves the Sky Blue just three points from the second automatic promotion place. Leeds United leapfrog City after beating Burnley 2-3 at Turf Moor, Burnley were 2-0 up before Leeds came back to take all three points. Norwich drop below Coventry after going down 2-0 at home to Portsmouth. Derby lost 2-0 at Bristol City, but Leicester came back from a goal down to beat Doncaster Rovers 5-1. Elsewhere Preston beat Ipswich 1-0, but remain at the foot of the table. Crystal Palace entertain Hull in the tea time kick off. In the Premier League Aston Villa beat local rivals WBA 2-1 and Stoke went 1-0 down at home to Blackpool. Everton and Wigan drew 0-0. Fulham and Sunderland also played out another goalless draw while Manchester City had a 3-1 win at West Ham.
