City Squad In Hospital Visit

The Coventry City squad and staff paid a visit to the University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire yesterday.

City, who have the Grace Research Fund, which raises money and awareness for medical research into premature birth and neonatal care, as their charity for the year, had a big turn out of staff and players, visiting a number of wards and seeing some of the excellent work that goes on in the childrens and premature baby units at the Walsgrave based hospital, Warwick Hospital and Nuneaton’s George Eliot Hospital.

City captain Carl Baker was one of those moved by the experience and he wrote on Facebook: "Proud that this is our sponsor. Went to visit premature baby's in Coventry university hospital earlier and what a great job they are doing. Fantastic to see and met some amazing families. Zoë's Place Coventry."
