Cov Rugby Offer For City Supporters

Coventry Rugby Club are offering Coventry City season ticket holders a discount to get into their home game against Cinderford tomorrow (3pm)

Normal admission price at the Butts Park Arena in Earlsdon is £14 for adults and £10 concession with U16's free if they are with a paying adult or member but City supporters, who were season ticket holders at the Ricoh Arena last season, will be charged £7 for the National League One game, as will season ticket holders for this season.

Coventry Rugby Club, who have named the squad of Brown, Locke, Ryan, Poole, Wright, Daynes, Le Roux, Nash (C), Barker, Maisey, Kohler, Otutaha, Davies, Hurrell, Hodgson, have appointed Coventry City Former Players Association Committee Member Billy Bell as their MC.

Bell told the Coventry Telegraph: “Many people have been left with a void in their Saturdays and they are not prepared to travel to Northampton to watch City because they think the whole situation is daft.

“I’ve been to the rugby club a number of times and I’d recommend all those football supporters give it a try, I am sure they will find the hospitality at Butts Park second to none.

“I know the chaps who run the rugby club, they are good people working hard to make something happen and they deserve our support. We all want to see City back at the Ricoh but in the meantime we can help them.”
