Coventry City stay in eighth place after their 2-0 victory at Bury.

City, who have fifty points, are four points behind seventh placed Brentford who are in FA Cup Replay action against Chelsea and only eight points behind leaders AFC Bournemouth who lost 2-0 at manager-less Preston North End.

Sheffield United went back second with a 3-0 home win over Colchester United and Yeovil moved up to third with a 3-0 home win over Scunthorpe.

Doncaster are fourth with Tranmere who lost 2-0 at home to Shrewsbury last night in fifth.

Hartlepool United are off the bottom with a 2-1 win over Leyton Orient and have been replaced by Portsmouth who drew 1-1 with Carlisle United.

Elsewhere, Walsall drew 1-1 with Notts County.
