City Out Of The Bottom Three

Coventry City's 2-2 draw with Blackpool at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night lifted them out of the bottom three of the Championship table.

The Sky Blues have gone fourth bottom ahead of Millwall who lost 2-1 at Watford.

Second from bottom Bristol City led Reading 2-0 but three late goals including one from former City target Adam Le Fondre gave the Royals a 3-2 victory.

Bottom side Doncaster Rovers came from behind to snatch a 1-1 home draw with Hull City.

Meanwhile, the pressure on Steve McLaren continues as 20th placed Nottingham Forest were hammered 5-1 at Burnley, whilst their neighbours Derby County missed out on a chance to go top after drawing 1-1 with Barnsley who face the Sky Blues on Saturday and Brighton missed their chance to top the table, losing 3-1 at home to rivals Crystal Palace.

Peterborough United moved up to seventh with a 3-2 win at Portsmouth, whilst Ipswich also moved up following a 1-0 win at West Ham.
