Former Coventry City defender David Jones is suing Cardiff City over unpaid bonuses.
Jones, who is now manager of Sheffield Wednesday, has taken Cardiff to the High Court in London for around £540,000 in unpaid bonuses for getting the South Wales side to an FA Cup final and three Championship play-offs.
Cardiff City have said: "It would be inappropriate to discuss specifics or any disputed figures."
