City Old Boy Out Of The FA Cup

Tabb plays for Reading but it is not a Royal day Former Coventry City player Jay Tabb went out of the FA Cup at the Sixth Round stage this afternoon. Tabb featured for Reading for 85 minutes of their 1-0 defeat at Manchester City for whom Micah Richards scored the only goal of the game with a header in the 74th minute. Reading's exit means there are no players who have played for Coventry City's first team left in the competition which has for it's semi-final draw - Manchester City versus Manchester United and Bolton versus Stoke City who beat West Ham 2-1 earlier today.  In the Championship, Cardiff City were held 2-2 by Barnsley.     NB: Daniel Sturridge who is at Bolton, played for Chelsea in their Third Round 7-0 win over Ipswich and is now cup-tied.
