According to The People, former Coventry City defender Stuart Pearce could be in line to become the next manager of Crystal Palace if Tony Pulis decides against the job, now vacant following the departure of Ian Holloway earlier this week.

The paper claims that Pulis may baulk at the £400k a year wages after being on four times that at Stoke City and this may open the door for former England U21 coach Stuart Pearce or even former City boss Chris Coleman whose future as manager of Wales is currently uncertain.
