Collins opts for Leeds It has emerged that one of Aidy Boothroyd's summer targets Neil Collins has opted to join Leeds United instead of Coventry City. The 26 year old Preston defender chose Leeds over Coventry City partly because he had already spent part of last season on loan at the Yorkshire club. Collins, who played alongside Coventry midfielder Michael Doyle, also on loan at Leeds last season, played nine times for Leeds, he said, "It was close because I had one other really strong offer to consider, but when I spoke to Leeds and having been here last year it was an easy decision in the end." "This is the place I wanted to come to. It's a great motivation for me and I'm delighted to be back. I left on such a high and obviously I was so keen to come back here."
