Norwood joins Huddersfield

Ollie Norwood, who was a big hit during his loan spell at Coventry City, has signed for Championship new boys Huddersfield Town.

City boss Andy Thorn had hoped to capture the Manchester United midfielder himself, but was always at a disadvantage with limited funds and the earlier embargo.

Barnsley had looked to be favourites to sign Norwood when they agreed a compensation fee with his former club, but he opted to join The Terriers instead.
