City Legends Game This Sunday
City v Tottenham Legends At The Butts this Sunday The CCFC Legends v Spurs Legends Charity game organised by Higham FC is on Sunday 10th July 2011 at the Butts Park Arena Coventry CV1 3GE Kick off is at 2pm (gates open 12.30pm). Adult tickets cost £5 (kids and concessions £3) on the gate or call 01455-611080 or visit Sporting Touch (1, Watling Court, Attleborough Fields Industrial Estate, Nuneaton CV11 6GX) or search Ebayfor ‘Coventry City vs Tottenham Legends’. CCFC Legends who are stated to make an appearance during the day include (1987 F.A.Cup Squad members underlined):- Dave Bennett, Brian Borrows, David Busst, Paul Culpin, Micky Gynn, Claus Jorgensen, Steve Morgan, Steve Ogrizovic, Trevor Peake, David Phillips, Steve Sedgley, Danny Thomas, Noel Whelan, John Williams, Paul Williams and Cyrille Regis. The Coventry City playing team for the day will again be managed by George Curtis and John Sillett! Spurs players who are also lined up include Clive Allen, Paul Allen, Garry Brooke, Espen Baardsen, Andy Edmonds, Paul Falco, Tony Galvin, Steve Hodge, David Howells, David Kerslake, Stuart Nethercott, Mitchell Thomas, Trevor Wilkinson and Clive Wilson. The Charity game, organised by Higham FC, is to be played in aid of the Higham charity, WaterAid and Macmillan Cancer Support. It will be preceded on the Saturday night by a Charity dinner dance at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry (7pm for 7.30pm) attended by a number of Sky Blue stars including George Curtis, John Sillett, Dave Bennett, Micky Gynn, Trevor Peake, Steve Morgan, Cyrille Regis, Noel Whelan, Paul Williams and John Williams as well as guests from Spurs.
