Coventry City Ladies won 3-1 at West Ham United Ladies this afternoon.
At Thurrock FC, City took the lead on 28 minutes when Helen Dermody burst through four tackles and fired past Wayne.
In the second half, Destiny Toussaint added a second, using her pace to skip into the the box and drill the ball into the bottom corner.
The Hammers came back on the counter attack when Crinean was quick on the break and finished across Wood but Craig Nicholls side went straight up the other end and Helen Dermody fired into the net from twelve yards to give the Sky Blues a 3-1 win.
