Coventry's Premier women's team looking for new sponsors

Coventry City Ladies are in need of financial support as they struggle to cope with the cost of playing in the Women's Premier League National Division.

Despite winning back-to-back promotions, the Sky Blues are on the lookout for fresh sponsors.

Paul Cudby's side are second in the league and the team has eyes on being in the top three at the end of the season.

And the club are hoping their recent success during an exciting time for ladies football with the Ricoh Arena hosting a host of important matches at next year's Olympic Games can attract much needed investment.

"Every club looks at gaining promotion and being the best, and Coventry City Ladies are no different," said commercial manager Bill Newnes.

"We have been very successful in gaining back to back promotions and this comes at a price. We do not have any funding from the FA or, Coventry City FC, and are reliant on local business for their support.

"We are looking for new sponsors to come on board and help us achieve our goals of securing a top place in the league at the end of the season."

Anyone interested in supporting the club can contact Mr Newnes on 07917720644.
