Subs Pritchard, Atkins. HT CCFC 0-0  CCFC  FT CCFC 0-0  CCFCReferee M.Gupta Asst AJ.Payne and J.Woodhouse -------------------------------------Coventry City Ladies stay top of the Women’s Premier league following a 0-0 draw with Cardiff City. Against a Cardiff side littered with Welsh internationals, Paul Cudby's side,  who had topped the WPL table with a 2-0 win at Aston Villa, forced Natalie Cousins into firing wide in the third minute. With St George complete with sword cheering on the Sky Blues at Bedworth United, Cardiff had the better of the chances in a tight first half. The rain came down at the start of the second half as Cardiff had two efforts go wide. Maz Gauntlett, in the 58th minute, fired into the side netting and then rifled a twenty five yarder over the bar. Courtney Sweetman-Kirk sent a long ranger on the roof of the net and in the 70th minute, tried her luck from distance with her effort going not far wide. City kept going. Simkins struck a post from a corner, Dermody had a shot pushed round for another corner, Sweetman-Kirk beat the keeper before having her shot cleared, but the match finished goal-less.
