Coventry City Ladies were beaten 3-0 at Barnet this afternoon in a WPL game.
At Barnet FC's Underhill ground, City Ladies started brightly, having the better of the opening exchanges.
But Barnet struck three times in the first half through Boardman in the 25th minute, Keown in the 39th and Sowden in the 43rd minute to see Paul Cudby's team down at the break.
City went for a double change with Milly Durrant and Crissy Torkildsen coming on for the second half.
But the Sky Blues could not force a way back and went down to only their second WPL defeat.
Next Sunday, City Ladies are at home to Nottingham Forest. Kick off at Bedworth United is at 2pm.
