Coventry City are in talks with three companies about becoming the club's shirt sponsors, Covsupport News Service has been told.
The club, who has lost a few sponsors due to the move by Tim Fisher and SISU of the club to Northampton, are in advanced talks with one company about a deal and have two others interested in having their name on City's new kit which should be out well before Christmas.
There have been suggestions that City have the name of a charity on their shirts until the deal is sorted but Tim Fisher told the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert: “The charity idea has been suggested and it is a very positive suggestion which we will look at.
“However, at the moment we are negotiating with a potential sponsor over a corporate sponsorship deal which we are hopeful will come to fruition.”
