City in action today
First friendly of the season Coventry City Football Club have announced that they will be playing a friendly game today at the end their stay in Austria. Coventry City will play an Obertraun Select XI, the kick off is at 11:00 am local time (10:00am in Coventry). The game will be Aidy Boothroyd's first in charge of the Sky Blues and will give some idea of how the new faces have gelled with the old. The Sky Blues have been in Austria for a gruelling training regime, which has tested the players fitness as never before. The game has been arranged at short notice so Covmad will not be able to be able to post a live text update of the game, but this service will be available for all of the other pre season friendlies starting with the game at Nuneaton on Saturday 14th July.
