Going to Coventry was good says Madine Gary Madine has said that being at Coventry City on loan helped spur him on to a new contract at Carlisle United.Madine, signed a new two year deal at Brunton Park last week and told Carlisle United's official club website: "Going to Coventry was a good experience because it made me realise what I could have if I worked hard."I came back here determined to do well and that got me a few starts towards the end of last season. "I felt that I was playing well, I got a few goals and I just want to kick on from there now. "Starting games has made a big difference and I'd like to thank the gaffer (Greg Abbott) for giving me that chance."
