City Going Through Serious Applicants

Manager Replacement Project Underway

Coventry City are understood to be going through a list of around forty serious applicants who have applied to be the next manager of Coventry City, replacing Mark Robins who walked out for Huddersfield Town eight days ago.

Having disregarded the "I'm unbeaten on FIFA 13" or "I've been on an FA Coaching Course" or "My U8's are doing well" merchants, who waste their and the club's time applying for such jobs, Steve Waggott and those involved in the manager making decision process are now scrutinising each of the serious applicants in order to whittle them down to those they wish to interview and/or negotiate terms with.

Obviously, business confidentuality prevents those who have applied from being named but Sky Bet have now installed Phil Brown as the 11/4 favourite with John Pemberton now the same price as Lee Carsley at 3/1.
