City Former Players Association Remember League Cup Semi Team
City mark those West Ham games The Coventry City Former Players Association are marking the 30th anniversary of City's League Cup Semi-Final defeat to West Ham United thirty years ago.City came from two goals down to beat West Ham 3-2 at Highfield Road but thanks to the late Les Sealey, they went down 2-0 in the second leg at Upton Park.A number of players from the City teams that played in the two matches - Garry Thompson, Andy Blair, Brian Roberts, Danny Thomas, Paul Dyson and Gerry Daly will be in the corporate areas of the ground prior to kick off of City's game against Crystal Palace on Saturday.The players will be introduced to the crowd at half-time and will be around to meet supporters in the G-Casino after the game.
