The Sky Blue Army responded to the call to arms by the Sky Blue Trust and several thousannd were on the streets for a march and rally.
The march started in Gosford Green, scene of many a battle over the years but none as big as trying to keep Coventry City playing in Coventry.
Those who packed into Broadgate, heard speakers ranging from Moz Baker and Lionel Bird to MP Bob Ainsworth and MEP Nikki Sinclaire all make empassioned pleas to try and keep the club in Coventry, its home for the last 129 years.
