City Drop To 14th

City down the table Coventry City are down to 14th in the Championship table after Tuesday night's round of matches.City's 2-1 defeat at Swansea City saw them drop five places in the table which is topped by Queens Park Rangers who won 3-0 at Ipswich Town.Cardiff City remain second despite a 2-1 defeat at Leicester City whilst Millwall are up to third after a 0-0 home draw with Reading.The Lions have the same points as Doncaster Rovers who beat Norwich City 3-1. The Canaries had former Sky Blues Elliott Ward and Leon Barnett booked in that game. Ipswich fifth and Burnley, who lost 2-1 at Middlesbrough, are sixth in the Play-off places. At the other end of the table, Portsmouth stay bottom after a 4-1 defeat at Crystal Palace with Preston who were beaten 2-1 at home by Nottingham Forest second bottom. Derby who lost 2-0 at Hull and had former Sky Blue loanee Dean Leacock booked are third from bottom.Other results saw Barnsley beat Leeds 5-2, Watford win 2-0 at Bristol City who face Coventry City on Saturday and Scunthorpe United won 4-0 at Sheffield United.In the FA Cup, Leamington are out after a 2-0 replay defeat at Brackley but Bedworth are through after beating Bartley Green 4-0.In the Midland Alliance, Stratford Town lost 1-0 at Boldmere St Michaels.
