City Down To Tenth

Championship Round up Coventry City are down to tenth in the Championship table after their third successive defeat saw them beaten 2-0 at Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.Two goals from former Sky Blue Jay Bothroyd helped Cardiff City to a 4-2 win away to Scunthorpe United and that was enough for them to go to the top of the table after QPR drew 0-0 at Nottingham Forest.Swansea didn't play whilst fourth placed Derby had former Sky Blue loanee Dean Leacock booked in a 2-0 defeat at Leicester City.A Becchio hat-trick has moved Leeds up to fifth with a 3-1 against Bristol City. Former City loanee Jon Stead scored for the Robins.Burnley who travel to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, are sixth after a 3-2 home win over Watford.Palace's win over City lifts them off the bottom and they are second bottom ahead of Preston who lost 2-0 at home to Hull City last night. Elsewhere, Barnsley won 3-1 at Ipswich with help from a Marton Fulop own goal. Sheffield United moved out of the bottom three with a 1-0 win at Millwall . Doncaster won 3-2 at Portmouth whilst a cracking game saw Reading and Norwich draw 3-3.
