Coventry City Council have refused to say where the cash for a bid for Coventry City Football Club Ltd is coming from.
The Council are one of those who are expected to submit best and final bids to the administrator Paul Appleton for whatever is in CCFC Ltd but have refused to say to the Coventry Telegraph exactly where the money is coming from for such a bid.
All the Council would say on the matter is: “The administration process is complex and the bidding element is subject to complete confidentiality.”
