City Confirm Transfer Embargo
Bad news confirmed Coventry City have confirmed they are under a Football League transfer embargo. The Sky Blues have been struggling to pay their bills and have of late only been paying creditors who have threatened legal action. The CT this morning has carried the following statement: "There is a transfer embargo in place at the moment but Coventry City is not alone in that situation in football."Sisu have been committed to the funding of the club for nearlythree-and-a-half years and there is no suggestion that this will notcontinue in the future."
