Paper says King close According to The Mirror, Coventry City are closing in on Marlon King. The striker who is out of jail after serving nine months for for sexually assaulting a twenty year old woman, punching her in the face and breaking her nose and does not have a club after Wigan sacked him following his sentence. The paper also claim that King is keen to work again with City boss Aidy Boothroyd. The feeling amongst the City support as to whether King should be signed, is definitely mixed to say the least.  Last week, 75% of less than two hundred who attended a fans forum with Aidy Boothroyd at the Ricoh Arena were in favour of signing Marlon King, whilst other votes both on this site and in the CT, have seen numbers against bringing King to the Ricoh Arena.
