The Sky Blues ended last term with a 2-1 defeat at Portman Road but Ranson believes it will be a completely different game in the opening-day clash at the Ricoh Arena. He told the club's official website: "There are some massive games in there in that first couple of months and every match will present its own challenge with sides looking to get off to the best possible start. "We signed off against Ipswich last season but I think both sides will have a different look about them at the beginning of the new campaign compared to that fixture. We will have certainly strengthened our squad before then. "Supporters will obviously be looking out for last season's Premier League sides - especially Newcastle United because of the size of the club - as well as the local derby against Leicester City. "But I am just as excited by fixtures against the likes of Swansea who played some great football last season and the clash at the Ricoh was a very entertaining games."
