League One Round Up

Coventry City are within three points of coming off the bottom of the League One table following their 1-1 draw at Shrewsbury Town.

Steven Pressley's side, who started on minus ten, are now on minus two, some three points behind Notts County, who were beaten 1-0 at Rotherham.

The Sky Blues are four points behind Greg Abbott's Carlisle United who drew 0-0 at Brentford and five points behind Gillingham who drew 1-1 at home with Bristol City.

Coventry have a better goal difference than nineteen other teams in League One.   

Leyton Orient lead the division after a 2-1 win at Colchester United, followed by Wolves who won 3-1 at Port Vale. Peterborough who lost 2-0 at home to Crawley Town are third with Brentford fourth, Rotherham fifth and MK Dons who won 1-0 at Sheffield United.

Other results saw Swindon beat Crewe 5-0, Tranmere won 1-0 at Oldham, Stevenage drew 1-1 with Bradford City and Preston won 3-0 at Walsall.
