Coventry City manager Steven Pressley was delighted with the response from his players after the Sky Blues came from a goal down to beat AFC Wimbledon 3-1.
Pressley told Jake Humphreys of BT Sport after the win at Kingsmeadow: "It was a big result for us. "I have said that the supporters of this club have been starved of success since 1987 and we want to give them something.
"They turned out in numbers again in a terrific cup tie and full credit to AFC Wimbledon, who I thought were excellent tonight because probably over the last five or six weeks that has been our most disappointing performance.
"i am delighted with the players for their response after going behind and in terms of our fluency and in terms of our pressing game in the first half, we didn't quite apply but it was much better in the second half."
