Pressley Hoping For Permission

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley is seeking out permission to play two of his loanees in Saturday's FA Cup tie at Hartlepool United.

Yeovil Town have already said that Danny Seaborne can play in the Second Round tie at Victoria Park, and now Pressley is trying to get permission to field his two goalscorers from the 3-1 win at MK Dons on Saturday in Chris Dagnall and Chris Maguire.

However, the problem has been complicated as both Barnsley from whom City got Chris Dagnall and Sheffield Wednesday who supplied Chris Maguire, have sacked their manager since the duo joined the Sky Blues on Thursday

With Callum Wilson out after picking up his fifth caution of the season, City need Dagnall in their strike force and Steven Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: “We’re hopeful that we’ll be able to use Chris because if we can’t it will obviously leave us very short up front.

"On the plus side Yeovil have told us that Danny Seaborne can play and that’s a bonus because he was outstanding at centre-back."
