More rumour mill rumblings There are unconfirmed rumours that Coventry City's current board have been trying to tout the players. The club, beset by financial problems and now resorting to telling the supporters if they want a player, to pay for it themselves, is rumoured to have alerted Premier League clubs to a number of City players in the hope that they will be signed for cash deals before the transfer market closes at the end of this month, as a way of ensuring that bills are paid. Newcastle United are being reported as the latest club to have watched the Sky Blues players with Liverpool and Manchester City already reported to have checked out Gael Bigirimana.
