Coventry City have moved back up to seventh in the League One table following their 2-2 draw at Preston North End.

City have 44 points from 30 matches and are four points and three goals behind sixth placed Sheffield United, whom the Sky Blues travel to on Friday night.

Due to their inferior goal difference, City now need thirteen more points to top the table above Tranmere whose home game against Swindon Town was postponed but are eighteen points ahead of fourth from bottom Scunthorpe United who drew 1-1 at Carlisle United.

AFC Bournemourth moved up to fifth with a 3-1 win against Crewe whilst Colchester beat Walsall 2-0, Leyton Orient beat Notts County 2-1, Hartlepool won 3-1 at Portsmouth and Shrewsbury drew 0-0 with Bury.
