Coventry City are back in the bottom three of the Championship after losing 2-0 at Barnsley this afternoon.

City now have seven points from ten games and are third bottom, ahead of Millwall who lost 1-0 at home to Burnley whilst Bristol City went bottom after losing 5-0 at Blackpool.

Previous bottom side Doncaster won 2-1 at Peterborough to move up to 20th ahead of Nottingham Forest who play Birmingham tomorrow.

Divisional leaders Southampton are two points clear at the top after beating Watford 4-0 at St Mary's with second placed Middlesbrough drawing 0-0 at Reading.

Third placed Derby lost 4-0 in the East Midlands derby to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium whilst fourth placed West Ham came back to snatch a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace,

Brighton stay fifth despite a 3-1 defeat at Ipswich with Hull staying in sixth after a 2-1 win over Cardiff City.

Elsewhere, Leeds beat Portsmouth 1-0
