Ian Neale escapes driving ban Coventry City Associate Director and Nuneaton Town Chairman Ian Neale escaped a driving ban after being found guilty at a court in Leamington of two motoring offences.Mr Neale's was ordered to pay £1200 plus costs of £200 and a £15 victim surcharge after he was found guilty of failing to report an accident and driving without due care and attention when his Jaquar car was involved in a crash with a Ford Fiesta on April 2010 at 7.25pm.Mr Neale avoided a driving ban after the court was told that that his business would struggle if he lost his licence.Irene Stark, the presiding magistrate is quoted as saying: "We do believe there are grounds of exceptional hardship. "We are therefore not going to disqualify you because of your personal circumstances and the impact it would have on the people you employ. "This reason cannot be used again for three years."
