City After Marlon Harewood?
Latest rumour mill rumblings There have been a number of unsubstantiated rumours over the weekend that Coventry City are interested in striker Marlon Harewood. The 31 year is out of work after his contract at Blackpool FC, for whom he made sixteen appearances scoring five goals, was not renewed. Harewood came through the ranks at Nottingham Forest, having loans at Haka and Ipswich before signing for West Ham in 2003. After 142 appearances and 47 goals, he moved on to Aston Villa, where he had loans at Wolves and Newcastle before joining Blackpool in 2010. Last season he played the latter part on loan at Barnsley. Harewood has also been attracting interest from Notts County.
