Cheltenham want to extend Jeffers loan

Yates and Boothroyd in talks over young striker. Cheltenham Town are in negotiations with Coventry City over extending the loan period of the young striker Shaun Jeffers. Jeffers loan period is set to expire at the end of January, but the Robins manager Mark Yates would like to keep him and Birmingham City's Robin Shroot for the rest of the season and is talking to City boss Aidy Boothroyd. Yates told This is Gloucestershire, "I will sit down with the boys in the next couple of weeks and sort out where we are going to go."
