Carling Cup: A trip to Morecambe for City
Coventry drawn away in first round of Carling Cup Coventry City have been drawn away from home in the first round of the Carling Cup and will travel to Lancashire to play Morecambe. The tie will probably be Aidy Boothroyd's second game in charge of Coventry, the first being the first game of the new Championship season and will see him take his side to The Globe Arena, Morcambe during the week commencing Monday August 9th. FIFA have designated that week for international matches, so City could be without some of their players who may be called for international duty.
