Cardiff linked with Gunnarsson move
Midfielder interests Bluebirds According to press reports in Wales, Cardiff are interested in Coventry City's out of contract midfielder Aron Gunnarsson. Wales Online is reporting that new Cardiff manager Malky Mackay is looking at Gunnarsson as an option as he rebuilds his side after their failure to win promotion last season. Gunnarsson rejected the deal offered to him by Coventry City and told them what terms he would accept. City boss Andy Thorn is hopeful he can persuade Gunnarsson to stay at Coventry. The 22 year old is out of contract on Friday 1st July, but is on his delayed summer break following his participation in the under 21 European Championship and will not be going to Portugal with the rest of the Coventry squad for their pre-season training camp next week.
