Canaries could sell star midfielder

Coventry and Huddersfield have both expressed an interest in the 25-year-old and although the Canaries do not want to sell him, assistant manager Ian Butterworth is ready to listen to offers. Butterworth told the Norwich Evening News: "I think Sammy's an excellent player and he could play at a higher level. "You like to think you'll be able to keep Sammy Clingan, but if he expresses his wishes to play elsewhere, what do you do? You try to help him on his way and get the best deal for Norwich City."
