Nathan offered three year deal Coventry City defender Nathan Cameron has been offered a new deal by the Sky Blues. The centre half, who has come through the club's academy ranks, was on a one year deal which expires on June 30th but has been offered a new deal.Speaking to the CT, Cameron, who has agreed terms said: "I have been offered a new contract and it is a great reward for me. "I think I have worked hard this season and obviously played nearly half the games and at the start of the season I would never have thought that could have happened. "I am just happy to be offered a new deal."He continued: "I only signed a one-year professional deal at the start of the season so I had to look for a new contract towards the end of the season and luckily I have been offered one."There is a three-year deal on the table at the minute so hopefully I will be here at Coventry for a few more years."It's a feather in my cap and a bit of security that gives me the chance to work hard and hopefully stay away from injuries over the next couple of years and really get my head down and not have to worry about coming to the end of a contract or anything until I am 22 and hopefully I can be a really good player for Coventry City."It is pretty much just a case of me signing on the dotted line. I want to keep working as hard as I can and keep doing the right things in training and keep learning."Cameron is just one of the young players you can vote for in the Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year Awards. For more details, please click on http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/vote_for_the_cns_young_player_of_the_year_655842/index.shtmlPicture copyright of Covsupport News Service.
