Busy time for Thorn

City boss keen to have transfers sorted by July 1st. Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has returned from what turned out to be a working holiday and will now embark on the task of rebuilding his side. It is understood that  right back Jordan Clarke is ready to sign the three year deal he has been offered. Goalkeeper Danny Ireland and young strikers Shaun Jeffers and Callum Wilson, who have been offered one year deals are also expected to sign despite delaying tactics initiated by agents and advisors on their behalf. Central defender Nathan Cameron has also been offered a three year deal, but as yet there is no word on whether he will sign. Thorn revealed that during his holiday the phone didn't stop ringing and he hopes that he will have his team assembled and ready to start pre season training on July 1st. Thorn said, “We are all ready to go. The phone hasn’t stopped ringing while I’ve been away and hopefully everything will fall into place.” Despite initial news that striker Marlon King had agreed to stay at Coventry, it is now known that he reneged on his promise and has moved onto pastures new, but Thorn is still waiting to hear about Westwood and Gunnarsson. Westwood has been linked with moves to several clubs, but despite rumours that he is about to move to Sunderland, nothing is certain just yet.
