15 December 2011 00:05
Referee announced.

The referee currently appointed to take charge of Coventry City's next game, the trip to Peterborough United is Mark Brown from East Yorkshire.

He has not refereed a City game before and is in his third season as the man in charge. He found fame earlier this year when he was banned by Mike Riley for three weeks for posting a joke about Stephen Gerrard on a social networking site.

So far this season, he has had eighteen matches (five of which have been Championship matches) and shown 43 yellow cards and one red.

His assistants will be David Benton form South Yorkshire and Darren England from South Yorkshire. The fourth official will be Lee Betts from Norfolk.
