City boss on pain and pleasure As all Coventry City supporters know, you have to endure the lows to savour the highs and Sky Blues Boss Aidy Boothroyd is thinking along the same lines. His team have lost three games in a week which have seen them drop down the Championship table from fourth to eleventh. Speaking to Sky Blue Player, the City boss said: "The bumps, bruises and bad results are all part of a long season and in my experience you have to go through pain to get some pleasure and it's been a painful week, I'll tell you that."The thing with winning is you have to make sure that you don't brush other things under the carpet so our challenge is to turn what was our worst week of the season into our best one by making sure we respond properly to what has happened."You need to make sure you get something out of defeat and I don't mean a stick to beat people with. There is a horrible feeling that goes along with defeat and Saturday's defeat was an absolute killer but it's gone and finished now and we need to take those feelings and use them to help us focus on Burnley."Picture copyright of Covsupport News Service.
