City boss may recall on loan players Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has to decide soon whether to recall his on loan players or to agree to extend their loan deals. Coventry have three players out on loan, Shaun Jeffers is at Cheltenham, Michael McIndoe is at MK Dons and Jermaine Grandison is at Tranmere Rovers. All three players are scheduled to return to Coventry at the end of the year, so Boothroyd has a week to make a decision. Boothroyd said, "I`ve been keeping an eye on Michael, he`s had a hamstring injury and he`s been recovering but he played last Saturday so he`s back in the fold  and I think come January time with the likes of Michael, Jermaine and Shaun, decisions are going to have to be made on whether they go back out on loan." " For me, I think the squad we`ve got in numbers is just right at the moment and I don`t want to disrupt that by bringing players back who need to play or bringing people back in who are just going to upset the numbers." Coventry City had only one payer on loan at The Ricoh and that was Danny Ward from Bolton, but he had to return to his home club back in October to have a hernia operation. Boothroyd revealed  though that Ward no longer figured in his plans. His loan deal with the Sky Blues is set to expire on January 1st 2011, but  he has taken s long to get over the operation he will not now return to Coventry City. Boothroyd said, "Danny`s is the longest hernia in history. The honest answer is I don`t really know (the latest). I sort of took my focus away from Danny when he got injured. He`s had a few complications, his loan is up January 1st so I`m not guessing I`m going to see him too soon as it would take him four weeks to get fit."
