Left sided striker banned for a game Coventry City manager Aidy Boothroyd has to find a replacement for Gary McSheffrey on Saturday as the striker serves a one match ban for picking up five yellow cards. There are several options open to Boothroyd, but it  might mean weakening the side in another department, so he will be take his time to decide who will play the part f the left sided striker. The two most obvious choices are Freddy Eastwood and Carl Baker, but Boothroyd also had David Bell and Lukas Jutkiewicz who he could ask to play in the McSheffrey position. Boothroyd said, “Gary is unlucky. He’s accumulated those bookings because of his willingness to help out the team . He’s not malicious but because he’s not defensive minded he tends to get there that little bit late and people see him coming and fall over." “It’s a setback, but that’s what it’s all about and you’ve got to be able to ride those punches. It gives somebody else an opportunity and we’ve got David Bell, Carl Baker, Lukas Jutkiewicz all of whom can play there." “I said right at the start that everybody will be needed, and I do feel for the likes of Freddy Eastwood who was fantastic at the start of the season but then got injured. He’s got himself fit again and when he’s come on he’s shown a wonderful attitude and could have scored a couple. If he keeps doing what he’s doing, he know he’ll get his chance.”
