Aidy Boothroyd has warned his Coventry players not to let their standards drop. City`s stars have been at a training camp in Obertraun, Austria, trying to impress their new manager. Boothroyd has been pleased with their work-rate during pre-season and wants it to be transferred into the forthcoming npower Championship campaign. "I am very pleased with the players and the staff I have inherited because when you come in you don't know anyone and you don't know how people are going to react to you," he told the Coventry Telegraph. "Generally in football everyone gets quite excited and does their best with a new manager and then they tend to come down again. But I have told them that I have got them now. "They are trapped and I have seen them at their most professional and hardest working and I expect that all the way through because that is what being successful is all about a lot of the time. I am big on discipline."
