Boothroyd left to rue missed opportunities

Coventry boss Aidy Boothroyd believes his side could have escaped with the points at Crystal Palace if they had taken their chances. City's best chance of the game fell to Lee Carsley when Palace were only a goal ahead, but Julian Speroni pulled off a superb stop and the Eagles went on to win 2-0. "It was a brilliant save," said Boothroyd said. "If we scored that we would have won the game. "I thought we played really well. We set out with what we wanted to do. Our reaction, myself included, has cost us the game. "It's been a rubbish week but that is part of getting better. It's about getting on with it."
